How to make it

STEP 1: Ingredients

For the Mushroom & cabbage fritters (Manchurian)

  1. Mushrooms: 200 grams, finely chopped
  2. Cabbage: 1 cup, finely chopped
  3. Red chili powder: ½ teaspoon
  4. Cornflour: 3 tablespoons
  5. All-Purpose Flour (Maida): 2 tablespoons
  6. Salt: To taste
  7. Pepper: ½ teaspoon
  8. Oil: For frying

Instructions

Prepare the Manchurian Balls

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped mushrooms, cornflour, all-purpose flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form Balls: Mix well and form small balls with the mixture.
  3. Fry: Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

For the Gravvy- Ingredients

  1. Onion: 1 large, finely chopped
  2. Tomato: 1 medium, pureed
  3. Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tablespoon
  4. Green Chilies: 2, slit
  5. Turmeric Powder: ½ teaspoon
  6. Red Chili Powder: 1 teaspoon
  7. Garam Masala: 1 teaspoon
  8. Mustard Seeds: ½ teaspoon
  9. Curry Leaves: A handful
  10. Oil: 2 tablespoons
  11. Salt: To taste
  12. Fresh Coriander: For garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat Oil: In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves.
  2. Sauté Onions: Add chopped onions. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add Ginger-Garlic Paste: Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  4. Tomatoes and Spices: Add pureed tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
  5. Mushroom Manchurian: Add Prepared Mushroom fritters. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
  6. Garam Masala: Sprinkle garam masala and stir. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish: Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
