How to make it
Ingredients
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut in half.
- 1 medium onion, cut in half
- 4-5 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1-2 green chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)

Instructions
- Heat Oil: In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add vegetables Onions: Add the half-cut onion & tomato.
- Add Garlic & Chilli: Add in garlic cloves and cook for another minute until the raw smell disappears. Add the green chillies
- Cook Tomatoes: Cook until they soften and remove the tomato skin. Cool that down.
- Spice It Up: Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mash all the tomatoes & garlic and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add Peas: Stir in the green peas. If using frozen peas, no need to thaw. Add a little water if needed, cover the pan, and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Finish with Garam Masala: Once the peas are cooked, sprinkle garam masala and mix gently.
- Garnish: Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
